OUR EXPERTISE
CONSUMER FRAUD
As consumers we routinely engage with business for a variety of services. While most of these interactions go as expected, there are occasions when we are faced with unlawful or unfair business practices. These can range from defective products to unfair or hidden charges. These practices are usually not unique to a particular person but one that affects all similarly situated consumers. There are numerous laws in place to protect consumers from such practices and class action lawsuits are the most efficient and effective.

FOOD AUTHENCITY
Labels matter and none more so that on the food we eat and the vitamins and supplements we choose to consume. Labels represent the primary (and often the only) dialogue between manufacturer and the consumer about the product. It is critical therefore that the product label provides an accurate and clear understanding of what is contained in the product so that a consumer can make an informed purchasing decision. Despite the existence of comprehensive laws, many labels remain misleading and products misbranded.
SECURITIES FRAUD
In 2019, investors filed more than 400 securities class action, nearly double the 1997–2018 average. In the wake of large scale securities frauds, class action lawsuits have once again taken center stage as the primary vehicle for aggrieved investors seeking remuneration for their losses. America’s mature adults control almost half of all the country’s after-tax income, a good portion of which is invested in the securities markets. As such, there is a good chance that you or someone you know has been or will be part of a securities class action.
